Implementation roadmap

Status: updated 2026-10-07. The local P0 implementation is present and checked. A live pilot has not been deployed or validated. See implementation evidence. This table records the original team-assistant foundation. The current product focus is the GitHub journey.

The repository uses workspace JSONB aggregates under row locks for the pilot, with relational inbox/outbox/binding/session constraints. Read the architecture's capacity limits before raising budgets or inviting large groups.

Release sequence

  1. Follow setup on a staging HTTPS host with a dedicated test bot, GitHub App and selected test repository. Enable Code Truth for a known branch.
  2. Run capped model evaluations: source question with checked citations, exact issue approval and one configured maintainer coding task through a PR.
  3. Exercise denied repository access, revoked grants and unknown GitHub outcomes; complete the release runbook recovery drills.
  4. Record model/provider behavior, retention policy, data-handling terms and the responsible operator. Invite pilot teams only after these gates pass.

Next coding delivery

The continuous Codex collaboration design is an accepted direction as of 2026-10-05, not a completed milestone. Its dependency-ordered slices are durable task/input/grant records and repository policy; original-requirement handoff and Codex investigation; ordered follow-ups and durable question/answer routing; bounded verification/repair and publication; and continuation on the same task/PR. Pi handles requirements intake and relay, while Codex makes technical decisions. The existing maintainer approval path remains current until these slices are implemented and verified. Design and local implementation can proceed before the pilot; enabling the new workflow for users still requires its deterministic and live release gates.

The implementation plan specifies M0–M6, code entry points, additive storage, runner compatibility proof and acceptance evidence. Start with the pinned-CLI protocol proof and durable task/policy foundation before changing the production execution path.

After the pilot

Evaluate the locally implemented issue/PR metadata, report, skill and handoff paths in the GitHub pilot before widening access. Multiple group sources, files, proactive suggestions, executable skill bundles, other connectors, Telegram web login, Mini App, voice, payments and broader GitHub writes remain later work. Competitor research remains source-linked research, not a shipping claim.
